Other Ways to Help

Mayatan has a variety of different projects that need your help, from help constructing buildings to outfitting our computer labs and library.

Our most pressing ongoing need is for scholarship sponsors. As we discuss in our case for support, Copán Ruinas and Mayatan Bilingual School have been particularly hard-hit by the global recession and the Honduran political crisis of 2009-2010, which devastated our tourism-based economy. This has resulted in a tuition deficit of over $50,000.
